    Hi there

Can anyone tell me what size (thickness) bolts/rod I need to fix the Z2 upside down to a DIY mount? Also, how much clearance is needed to allow the removal of the air filter?

I bought a pair of speaker wall brackets from Maplin, which seem perfect for a cheap DIY mount. They can be moved in all directions to allow 'easy', precise set-up and can take up to 10KG's. I intend to fix the Z2 to a piece of 8mm MDF or Perspex (10"x14") with 3" threaded rods to allow further adjustment via wing nuts.

The brackets cost me £15 and I would be up for selling the spare one (see free-ads)

    Cheers

Does nobody know what size (thickness bolts) fit into the feet holes for mounting the Z2? Oh well, I'll just have to wait till I get it! Getting excited!!!

    I'm pretty sure I read that they're M4 sized.

Your best bet is probably to pop down to your local DIY store and buy a few to test for size.

You could always take them back for a refund once you've found out which ones you need.

    Cheers Bursar

I believe I had heard they were M6 and was hoping someone would confirm this, but instead you say they are M4 - HaHa!

I will simply wait and take one of the legs/feet to the hardware place.

    Thanks

The three threaded holes on the Z2 take an M6 screw, that is what is supplied with the LMP mount.
