I'm looking to install a second plasma but in the kitchen [probably pw42 6 series] It needs to be ceiling mounted, [possibly wall mounted but more likely ceiling]. Has anyone done any ceiling mounting? Ideally you'd be able to rotate and tilt the screen downwards.

Any installers out there than can do the install? inc power and display cables and not leave a great mess in the room. i.e. needs to be completely wife friendly. What kind of money am I looking at?

[totally useless with power tools or DIY of any sort].

    Neil.

AFAIK, You should never, ever, mount a plasma screen flat. Especially if it needs to be moved in this position. This is because of the delicate circuitry behind the screen and the risk of flexing during movement. The internal structure is strenghtened for vertical use but not horizontal.

    Cheers, Brock.
