Well I have just got back to work after a jolly over to CEBIT in Hannover, the biggest IT show in the World, and its bloody big! Makes the NEC look like a Pannier market! 27 Halls stuffed full of goodies, amongst which some highlights were;
one hall had Philips, LG, Samsung and Sharp all within spitting distance all showing off their latest stuff including a number of 60" Plasmas and Samsung had 54" LCD on display and bugger me they were fab! Philips and LG were also showing off some Blue-ray players giving 5 times the storage of DVD. Samsung and Sharp also had some 3D Flat screen technology on show, both gave a very good 3D effect but I think you'd be ill after looking at it for too long.
The amount of TFT, Plasma and LCD screens at the show was amazing I hardly saw a CRT at all and that in 27 miles worth of exhibition space
