im impressed and that takes some doing.

    i ordered Windtalkers(region2) from Cdwow
just 3 days ago. and here it is in the post today.

now this dvd isnt even released here yet.
i wasnt expecting it to some time in Feb.
i just thought id pre order. wait and forget
    until posty delivers.

but this place had it listed and ready to ship region2.
    and only £13.99 delivered.
infact this was the cheapest price i found
    which made the sale.

i didnt even know it was coming from abroad.
i kind of thought maybe it hasnt.
but the post mark is hongkong.

    pretty impressive i must say.
id thought id share this expereience.

and no before the slagging starts.
i have nothing to do with cdwow.

in fact im a retired disabled man in his thirtys who
    likes watching war films..........

credit where credit is due---- impressive service.

    info on amazon
Release date: 17 February for windtalkers UK

your right i just checked its region 4.
although i specifically ordered region 2.
    mind u is there a differance. ??
none of my dvd players are region decoded
and it plays in them ok.

although i will add , that my comments regarding
service have now to be reduced a little.

As my confirmation email from them does say region 2 ordered.
and that is not what i got.

this may cause problems with some players
im no expert in this area.
i just know u can pay more for region decoded players.

maybe some more comments are welcome.

    thanks.......

I've used them for the first time a couple of weeks ago and they've been great. My DVD came from Hong Kong (it was a R4) and the PS2 game from Sweden - very bizarre but very cheap! ;)

About the only mildly negative thing you can say about CD-Wow is that their selection isn't the biggest and they don't carry some major new titles.

However, they nearly always have great prices, offer loads of ways to knock another 50p/£1 off through promotions and their delivery times are often better than many UK based retailers and certainly far better than any US based retailers can manage (unless you pay through the nose).

CD-WOW get about 80-90% of my business.

I recently had White Men Cant Jump for £4.49 and it turned up scratched (disc off the spindle). I sent an email to customers services and got a reply very quickly apologising. They then advance replaced another copy and sent a prepaid envelope to send the damaged one back. Superb service.

As Juboy says, if there selection was bigger, they'd get all my orders.
