How have they been?
Waiting for Quantum Leap set this week so i'll let you know (fingers X).
Customs duty has nothing to do with the supplier, but is imposed by our government.
That's not what I asked. I'm sure someone will appreciate your knowledge of the ins and outs of government and HM customs, though.
I bet he works for Customs trying to suss me out so I get stung on sam becket.
My order for angel series 1 went via jersey address for nowt
Really?, you don't say
So, are we saying that orders from cdwow over £18 are getting through customs or not????? THAT is the whole point of this thread!!!! I'm eyeing up some juicy Criterion Collection boxsets. What is the liklihood of them being charged customs????
It seems some UK-sourced stuff is coming via the Channel Islands (with Duty/VAT pre-paid apparently)but other stuff (R1, 3, 4 etc) is still coming from HK.
Seems a bit risky to me esspcially since their prices aren't that great.
Of course we're talking +£18.
Off topic>what does "Ta" stand for and mean?
Used throughout the United Kingdom.
Ok, ta for the answere
Well I just recieved Quantum Leap today and i did not get stung
i'm waiting on batman tas
Is that the usual HK label since it's a Region 1 DVD?
But what you asked makes no sense - Monkeyboy is correct in that you are no less or more likely to get "caught" by customs using cd-wow than you are any other retailer. Customs charges are totally random.
