    I've got a Arcam CD73T, can this play SACD's? I'm
    guessing it can, being 24bit?

The CD73 will not play SACD disks in their SACD format. If it is a dual layer disk and also has a red book standard encoded layer on it it should play these (Although some of the disks do not fully comply with the red book standard).

Being 24bit does not relate to the SACD standard. It means the the digital filters inside the DAC work using 24 bit maths and that the output of the DAC has a 24 bit structure.

The CD73T will play the CD layer of an SACD. It will not play the SACD layer. Arcam do not make a native SACD player.
