Hello,

I was wondering what would give a better and more noticable performance improvement..

Running a CD73 through an external DAC (eg Benchmark DAC1) into an AVR300 or upgrading the CD73 to a CD192.

I would recommend the CD192 upgrade, big improvement. A visit to any dealer would allow you to compare the CD73 with the CD192 and let you make your own mind up.
