CD73 jump at turn on

I've just become aware of this problem and wondered if anyone has encountered anything simialr. CD73 is 10 months old and I have noticed that it seems to skip a few times when its turned on at first. I think its only when turned on at first as i have yet to notice it doing it after say 30 minutes.
I have not used a lense cleaner yet as its appears so far as it appears to be only during warm up.

Just want to know your thoughts before returning to my dealer given the sporadic nature of the problem.

Hey Dude

It's not particularly damp, or cold in your listening room is it?

I know that condensation on the lense can cause skipping.
That would explain why it stops when the player has warmed up.

Good call but I have tried it in a mates house and it did the same thing.
Funnily enough it did it once again today and has been the paragon of reliablity all day since. Its still got over a years warranty to run so plenty of time to get it sorted.

I've just bought one, (CD73) , and mine does the same. It skips once or twice during the 1st few minutes then all is fine. The room is quite cold (58f) so maybe condensation is the cause as mentioned. There is no radiator in the room but I will use a portable heater and check things out at a more "normal" room temperature and see how it goes.
