well it had to happen......my alpha plus has died and my audiolab 8000a is in for an estimate with tag for repair oh well 16 years of use i cant complain.

been looking at the cd73 player(not heard as yet)but keep coming accross the cd73t? any differance or is it an upgraded version or something?
its funny that after 16 years of service ,i cant seem to look at any other players other than arcam.speakers are mission 820.

    thanks tony

There is no CD73T there is just a CD73. This confusion in the naming is probably caused by the fact that its predecessor the CD72 had a version called the CD72T which added CD text compatbility. The current line of Arcam cd players all support CD text and thus have no need to highlight this feature with a 'T' as it is now standard.
