Right, so we have a £1.50 off LINK.

What are the current options as far as vouchers are concerned? I've just used my last £1.50 Trustcard Voucher and thought we could tie everything up into one neat (er) thread.

Thanks

Yeah there should be a decent thread thats has all the vouchers etc on it instead of having to trawl through the endless Cd Wow discount posts heh

Well there wouldn't be so many threads about CD Wow vouchers if people would take a couple of minutes to do a bit of looking instead of logging on and going straight to a new thread and asking "what CD Wow vouchers are there ?" or "what are these £1.50 off links - I haven't heard of them" :censored:

That's exactly the point I'm making by starting a new thread. People won't have to look around the forums anymore if we get some useful voucher links up on here.

So to stop clogging the system with repetitive threads, you're starting a repetitive thread ?

Just take a look further down this page and maybe even, shock horror, go to the second page of posts and find lots of useful information about vouchers.

...which can be posted here for the majority's enjoyment.

valhalla: Did you successfully use a trustcard voucher together with a link in the last 24 hours then...I thought they were cancelling orders if you do that now?

Yeah, it's so far just as normal. No despatch notice yet but CD-WOW are slow when compared with the likes of Play.

I have used some of my Trustcard vouchers together with a link too.

I hope they dont cancel the Trustcard vouchers as I still have a few more left. I assume since it was a fairly big promotion they will not "expire" the vouchers anytime soon.

No they definitely don't.

The scare was started by a loon who thought the old T & C's were brand-spanking new.

I dont know anything about this 'loon' but ive jut had an order cancelled using the link and trustcard voucher. This is the 2nd order cancelled in a week however i did manage to successfully use it inbetween those 2 cancelled orders. Maybe it was something to do with it being more expensive with than the other 2 or im just very unlucky!

I don't understand this.

Have you ever used the same voucher twice? Or anything along those lines whereby you could be blacklisted?

I have bought near 44 DVDs (inc Box sets) from CD-WOW in 2004 alone, all using that successful combination of (a) link and Trustcard Voucher. None have been rejected. Maybe if you're a very loyal customer, they let you do it?

I think Loyal has nothing to do with it. If you do a order and wait for that to arrive then do another, you should be ok. But if you order 2-3 etc then they might have a little look at your account. As the email details i get inculdes all vouchers that have been taken off.

Just got People Vs Harry Flint for £2.49

You could be right there.

I order a DVD, then wait for the despatch email (no matter who I order from) before ordering my next title.

I always have two DVDs in the post and two being processed at any one minute, not all from CD-WOW.

Nope i never try and use the same voucher twice. I must say before last week i made 'lots' of orders this way all without a problem. In fact a couple of weeks back when an order was cancelled because of being out of stock i even had another £1.50 voucher emailed to me! The orders that were cancelled were of very low value like £2.99 but ive had 2 orders of £4.99 & £5.99 go through without a hitch in between those cancelled ones. I thought maybe they are cracking down on these low orders were they might be losing money but i dont know if others have made successful orders of say £2.99 or less using the link & voucher. Wwould be interesting to find out.

Just seen the last 2 posts and seems like orders are getting through of low value.

I asked the mods for this to be done already - see here

The customs part was done but nothing about CD Wow.

I tried to do it with this thread but was shot down immediately, by the guy who's now requesting it via the Mods.

Mods - if you've got a lot on your plate, let us sort out a sticky and you can do the rest. Just an offer.

Ok, I will take you up on that kind offer. I only had time to do the sticky last weekend and I was waiting for this weekend to do the other one. But if you are offering...

Thanks
Greg

I shot you down because you started a new repetitive thread to try and stop repetitive threads - you should have put your request within one of the many other ones for CD Wow vouchers.

Oh should I?

Thanks.

Does it REALLY matter that much? Suppose it does to you...

Doesn't matter much to me - i just get the impression some people like to start new threads so they can see their name as "thread starter" and purposely ignore the numerous threads about the same subject.

Anyway, we got the sticky - let's put our toys back inside the prams.
