CD Wow site problems ?

    Is anyone else unable to view their order history page on CD Wow ?

    I couldn't access it yesterday and still can't this morning.

    Yep, same here. I just popped in here to see if it was only me, TBH. ;)

    At the US-site I'm even told that there is no order history connected with my e-mail address... :confused: Hmmm...

    Well, since it's not just me I expect it to be back no normal again in not too long.

    Am Still having problems with this despite having been told over 10 days ago this would be fixed quickly within a couple of days at most. Obviously a bigger issue that they have let on.

    You can check on individual orders if you know the order number......

    Slightly longer way round, but at least you can find out if something has been shipped or not.

    It is a bit annoying though, I would have expected CD-Wow to have rectified it by now.

    ^I think they've taken off the individual order tracking facility as well.

    I can't search for anything on their site at the moment, as it keeps telling me the server's messed-up. :rolleyes: Looks like there are a lot of bugs in this new software/IT upgrade they've done, which probably should have been spotted at the testing stage.

    Don't suppose it was sanctioned by our lovely labour Government, do you, especially with their outstanding acchievements with huge IT databases?! :rotfl:

    The individual order tracker still worked yesterday - you do need to enter both the order number and your email address for it to work though :)

    - and everything was so perfect before '97 :rolleyes:

    My lawn is currently a bit too wet to mow .... do you know what I blame the Labour govt :rotfl:

    I just found this thread after CD Wow isn't showing my orders. Where do I track individual orders? I have the order number from my email.

    I can't get it to work on the US site, or on www13, but if you go to the following link it seems to work:

    www1.cd-wow.com/ordersearch.php

    Having said that, my order is still showing as a pre-order even though today's its release day...

    Considering this problem is now between 3 to 4 weeks old, CD Wow seem to be doing little or nothing to resolve it on the face of things. You would think that at this stage the least they could have done is to email people to apologise/update us on when they hope to be sorted.
    This would just be simple good customer care, which CD Wow seems incapable of doing anymore. Moving its call centre seems to have lowered the quality of customer service considerably.

    I don't think so, just checked the oldest order I still have in my email (10th January) and it came up correctly using the link I posted earlier :smashin:

    Still messed up for me i had problems for a few days with site emailed them and got reply already posted yet yesterday site seemed to be able and search and track my orders yet today its back to not working again if i search or try to track my orders :boring:

    Still not working for me, although the inidividual order check is OK.

    Still doesnt explain why my Pigeon Detectives CD is showing as pre release when it charted in the top 5 last night...

    Still not working for me either:rolleyes: Did not get an order number on the email from them on my last order either due, it said, to "technical difficulties".
    I've not received the dvd or a despatch or delay email and it is now no longer on their site. Given the court ruling they really need to sort this out. I'm certainly not willing to place more orders at the mo...

    Has anyone actually received any communication from cd-wow whilst this has been going on?

    The quality (or more rightly the lack of) customer service is downright appalling, the concept of customer care seems to have completely passed them by. They used to be among the best etailers in the market place. I would not rank them at all at the moment.

    I find their customer service telephone line a real pain, as it only operate 9-5 mon to fri yest I realise its a freephone but I would rather pay for one that acutally operates when I can phone them, it is obviously done from india, so time is not of issue in the same way, if they wanted to offer proper customer service it would be longer/weekends. Rarely ever get a reply to emails I have sent to them, they seem to ignore and hope the problem will go away!

    Have to say I am also ordering elsewhere at the moment, don't feel I can trust them.

    It was working a few days for me but it isn't now.

    I find their customer service excellent via email. I cancelled a DVD foir refund and I got replies under 30 minutes each time. They also gave further info of what they are doing about the court case.

    Anybody else experiencing big delays with dispatches from CD-WOW?

    I placed an order over a week ago for a couple of CD's and they haven't yet even been dispatched and they're customers ervices aren't responding to emails.

    I know they're potential going tits up but thought they were still trading?

    Anybody?

    They had a fire at their warehouse which delayed orders. See two posts up from yours.

    Don't suppose anyone's ordered anything from CD-Wow's US site recently? Ordered Galactica season 1 last night, and have got an invoice of payment, but no confirmation of the order. Nor is it showing in order history.

    However, the Galactica season 2 set ordered via the UK site (also last night)is showing as dispatched!

    Is the US site having problems showing the order history? Or does the lack of info mean they've cancelled the order?

    I have the same thing with a recent order ... its because it went back to the WorldPay system, and somehow doesn't get properly linked back to CD WOW's orders database

    ... my previous experience of this is that it has taken up to a week, and it eventually processes/despatches and shows up on order history - otherwise I contact CS on that 0800 number

    I ordered Ghost Rider r3 at the begining of the month, but it is still showing as pre-release, and has been for the last 2 weeks although the release date wa 8th June. Has anyone received their copy yet. (Yes I know it's not the greatest film ever made, but I only paid 8.99)

    I emailed cd wow about an order i placed on june 7th as it had not been despatched yet. They replied it was because they were expiriencing supply problems and my order would be despatched on july 3rd! Maybe it's due to the reported fire at there warehouse?
