A while back they were offering a fairly hefty voucher for new subscribers.

Can anybody remember the value ?

The reason ?........... I have been trying, with no success to get the voucher out of 'em as they have yet to cough up. I joined first week in October.

Has anybody else had a similar problem.

What isn't helping is that LOVEFiLM run the rental service but the voucher is due from CD-WOW. So I think I am being bounced between the pair of 'em !

As regards the service itself....... well impressed to date. THIS ASIDE :nono:

yep £8.99 promised, but I also am still waiting for this !!!

I took the trial offer for 14 days and then cancelled the service.

Be careful, they sent the first few discs out promptly however, they delayed the second set which arrived the day before the trial was due to end - I was unable to cancel my account as discs were still on the way....very frustrating and I am sure NOT deliberate in any way....

I had to send e-mails threatening legal action to get the account closed - still want that voucher after all this !!

The voucher is only issued if you take on the service proper - ie continuing after the trial period, if memory serves me correctly.

I've been thinking about online rental more and more recently. Rather than buying dvd's at £15 a time, it seems to make more sense to pay £15 a month to rent 3 at a time. Should be able to watch 2-3 per week. Could people post what service they use, and how many films they can watch. Not sure which one would be best. :)

Cd-Wow is the only one I have tried to date, and pretty impressed. Run by LOVEFiLMS.com

Believe its the way forward if you prefer WATCHING films to COLLECTING them.

Proper value for money. Its not about how many films you are allowed to watch but how many you are allowed to hold at any one time. The quicker you get em back the quicker they send the next one. To date watched over a dozen films in 6 weeks or so.

If you are gonna subscribe to one do me a favour and mail me. That way I get free month, and there could be sommat in it for you too.
