Have you contacted CD WOW and asked what the charges were for?

Was it a mistake or has someone else tried to use your card?

If they have asked you to fax something, how is that going across the net?

    Contact your credit card company.

Most will refund you the money and then investigate it themselves.

Received reply from world pay saying that it was down to the merchant ie cd-wow, then about 30 mins later received another e-mail from world pay saying contact cd-wow on this particular link which world pay had given me, and to contact world pay in a few days if i dont here from cd-wow, this to me seems very strange as thay stated in the first e-mail it was not there responsibilty ? still wating to here from cd-wow

Received e-mail from cd-wow this morning saying they agree i did not make these orders and that i am getting a full refund, they also said they have already posted the items of to fraudster ( not the words they used ) they did also tell me to contact the police because they have a name and address of the person who ordered these items, the only problem is the police have told me that as i have been refunded in full i am no longer the aggreived in all this, so unless cd-wow wish to pursue the culprit themselves nothing can be done about it, i have sent cd-wow another e-mail asking them to pursue this but somehow i can't see them doing this, another fraudster gets away with it

Personally I find that outrageous! Surely a crime has been committed whether the aggrieved has had the refund or not.

Or am I getting old before my years? :suicide:

Have you checked your pc for trojans/ key loggers ?? Run a few scans ASAP.
Remember virus scanners dont pick up alot of trojans/ key loggers.

    Hi,
    Have now stopped credit card.
Another transanction has been made by another company for £149.
The credit card company are aware of this bogus website and looking into it.
Just shows you, have norton internet 5 and firewall and taken all necessary precautions as you would expect! We dont know if our details have been obtained on the net, or could be from a shop we use all the time. Just curious to know...its mindblowing. Wish fraud depts could shut down these victicious sites espescially as they know about this one. Makes me mad.
    Regards

    Johns wifey..

Was the charge from Wbsales ??
Was the card registered at dvd pacific ?? As you should know they had a secruity breach around july time and 100's (1000's?) of CC details were stolen. Dvdpac did contact all its customers and warned them to cancell there cards but many didnt and now they are getting hit with cc fraud.
If not then it sounds like your Cc was either scammed in a shop/garage or you have a trojan/ key logger on your pc.

Well use a good virus scanner plus a good firewall Plus have some anti spy software running. I'm running Ad aware SE dload for freeHere
Spybot search and destroy 1.3 download Here for free
Also for trojans etc I use Spy sweeper v3.2 dload a free trial here
Do remember to keep all updated as they are Useless if not updated.
Also dont just use one as spy blaster picks up things adaware doesnt and visa versa

the orders were not showing on my cd-wow accout, bearing in mind you do not have to register on log into your account on cd-wow to make purchases, i would be realy worried if they were on there because they would have my password as well as my cc details

maybe we should all email cd-wow about changing their order system, it can be hard to do, to only accept orders if logged in first.

    Hi Johns Wifey Here...

Aparently, Cd Wow say that they had altered there system so this cant happen.I tried mucking about with there system and it still showed boxes where you could change the name of the recipient AND delivery address! Seems they havent changed anything there then!

Also, just to let you know, we have adaware and norton anti virus 5!
    These people are very clever.

    Regards

    Wifey
