I have a sony dvd player 535 something or other, about 4 years old and about £400 then. Picture quality seems ok though I havent anything else to judge it against, and I havent had a cd player before. I also have an AVR 200. I was teased by the Diva 88 or 89 to do both cd and dvd but those who know my audio preference have suggested I keep the sony and get a dedicated Diva cd82 player for the same sort of money.
I would like to maintain the visual aesthetic so the next step could be the new 79 to combine cd and dvd....? What about the FMJ that I really cant afford...
I will arrange a dem at a dealer but I would like to at least narrow my options a bit more closely to give the dealer, and me, a chance.
    Any opinions gratefully received
