Are there any problems associated with feeding a security camera imput to a Panasonic plasma screen (not on a permananent basis, occasional monitoring ) ?.

None what so ever, its just a composite signal, connect either by phono plug or preferably bnc.

If you have enough inputs it can be plugged in permanently and just switched to when required.

I know you mentioned it is just for occasional monitoring but bear in mind the possibility of burn in. If your CCTV picture has any bright bits it won't be long before your plasma has them permanently. If your plasma has any burn reduction stuff built in, make sure you use it.
