Just thinking, I used to have a Sony VW11HT for which I bought a CC40R filter to boost the black level and contrast. At the time the VW11 was king, everybody seemed to talk about this tweak.

However, the Sony HS20 with its Iris has better contrast and black level anyway, and there's no mention on here of people using such a filter with it.
They are for sale though, and I'm presuming the same trick can be applied.... i.e apply the filter then increase the blue and green gains to compensate.

    So, has anyone tried it?
