Don't forget it not actually a test, rather a training course. Just listen to what the instructor tells you and take it at your own pace...

150 quid if i remember correctly, and as dodger said, there's no test so don't worry about it.

It only takes a day and may prevent you from becoming an "organ donor" as my brother calls motorcyclists (he's a paramedic and a little sick).;)

Basicly a 2 stroke does a complete combustion cycle in 2 stages where a 4 stroke does it in 4.

See here for a detailed explanation,

Basicly yeah, the power you can get size for size is amazing when comparing 2 strokes to 4 strokes.

Not really but a 50cc 2 stroke engine would be a hell of a lot more powerful than a 4 stroke one.

There a few things you can do to make it go faster and I'd only recommend the first 3.

    Go downhill.;)

    Duck.;) ;)

Get some experience, pass the full bike test and get a proper motorbike.

Change the exhaust (will hardly make any difference and just make it a loud annoying chav machine).

There's the rub, it saves you walking so I wouldn't worry about the speed too much.

Trust me, 40mph downhill on a moped seems like 200mph anyway.:D

    Bad move.

It may make the bike illegal because it's classed as a moped and de restricting it may bring the power threshold over the legal limit for mopeds and in to a different category of driving license which means you are driving without a licence and therefore liable to prosecution for that offense.

It's also unlikely that there's a restrictor on it and if there was you'd have to look very hard for a garage that would remove it for you.

You're also more likely to thrash it to death.:D

No but I have had a go on a few and looked in to doing my bike licence last year.

It's just not as comfy and warm as my car though.:)

Easiest way to get personal transport matey.

Cost of bike, cbt and bike running costs are peanuts compared to a car.

Just be careful and remember that the only thing protecting you in an accident is your skin and your helmet so make sure the helmets a good un and treat all those bleeding car drivers like idiots.:D
