Has there ever been a worse film centered around a motorsport?.........i think not. I know the screenplay was by Stallone himself, so i wasent really expecting too much, but everything fell well below even that.

This film made 'Days Of Thunder' seem like the best movie of all time. Oh, and i've seen some better rendered effects on my PC :)

I quite like it, touch unrealistic driving around shouting to each other and all, not worst film I've seen.
In general the DVD picture quality is really tops, sound too.
Typical cliche stuff, remnants of trashed F1 project obvious, Burt as Frank and so on...

Where do I start with how apalling this "movie" is? Okay let's make a start:

    1. Marshalls look after crashed cars, this means drivers don't need to stop the race and swim in lakes full of petrol to resque people from another team!
    2. Cart cars would last approximately 0.0035 secs on a normal road before their chassis and gearbox were torn to hell.
    3. No one in the film can act
    4. The CG is terrible
    5. The makers have no idea about motorsport or movies which considering it's a motorsport movie, is pretty bad.

    Driven was drivel ?
Many say 'the One' , too was same sort of crap.

    Each to their own.

    Both were very very good.

Did I all hear you say Fast & Furious was great....well it's amazing how they manged to film a 10-15 second race last minutes and minutes. Had great stunts , didn't it ? and I suppose the, not so many stunts, in Driven were really really really awfull and the film was really really really bad !!
Gladitor's basic story line was really belivebale wasn't it ? I think NOT, Matrix, X men, were do I stop

Still, ALL these films are very good. Just sit back open your mind or should I say empty them with most films and relax.

i do enjoy a 'no-brainer' film now and again, but this one was more of a 'no-anything' film for me

but like you say. each to their own.

i enjoyed Driven ... had some good fun action and decent soundtrack... ok some of the sequences blatantly looked like CGI but at the end of the day it's all about entertainment and switching off the ol' brain once in a while ;)
