    Builders have nearly finished thankfully.
From the corner of the room they the two cat5e cables coming out of the plaster which will carry the signal to the rear speakers.
They also have two cat5e network connections.

Question I have what the best way to terminate the speaker pair.
Whether to finish them at a cat5e termination box and then run a seperate cable from the amp to each cat5e terminal.

    or

Just leave the cable hanging out and wire them straight into the back of the amp.

The first one would be tidier solution i feel. just hoping it wouldn't loss to much of the signal.

    All advice appreciated

    thanks
    Ronan

I wouldn't use a Cat 5e plate for the speakers, too much possibility of plugging the wrong thing in.

Why not use a dual speaker termination plate?

    regards
