I've heard that it is possible to send audio signals over CAT5 cable.

Most rooms in my house have a couple of CAT5 cables that are not being used for data so I was wondering if I could somehow use these to connect my hifi to speakers in remote rooms? e.g. to listen to music in the kitchen.

Does anyone know what equipment I would need and anywhere I might find info on how to do it?

Also, as an after thought, I'm about to get Sky+ installed. Is there any way the Sky video signals could be carried to other rooms using these cables?
