Was wondering if anyone could clear something up for me with regards to the title ASAP as I have run quite alot of Cat5e UTP and am now a bit worried.

I know you shouldn't run Cat5e/6 near twin and earth as the electro magnetic field from the twin and earth reduces performance on the data cable. I have read/heard different things with regards to how close they can be, and also isn't it dependent on if it is UTP, STP, FTP?

If the Cat5e cable is within 50mm of the twin and earth can you cover the Cat5e with something to help it not loose speed?

As coax carries power if this is close to Cat5e/6 does this create an issue?

Do RCA cables and Cat5e/Cat6 cause interference?

Sorry lots of questions just want to be 100% on the above.

    Thanks :smashin:
