    Hi

I have been using Neet HDMI/Cat 6 baluns to send picture from the sky box to the TV downstairs. All worked perfectly for 7 months than this. What would have caused the below and can it be sorted easily?

Looks like corrosion caused by a liquid to me.

Might water (or other liquid) have dripped onto (or been spilled) on the plug or box ?

Have you checked the corresponding socket, as there's little point in simply re-terminating the cable, if the socket (or the internal connections to the baluns themselves) is also affected !

Yep, liquid based corrosion here too.
