I am in the pocess of adding some multi room to my pc based jukebox. The main server is located in the garage and will have multiple soundcards to provide seperate feeds for different rooms.

I already have a couple of cat 5's run to the loft space and wish to provide speakers in the bathroom and bedroom. Should I put the amp at the server end and use a cat 5 - 4 strands.. 2 + and 2 - for each speaker or should I put the amp in the loft and convert the cat 5 to phono connectors using something like the madnat ballums ?

Which is likly to be the higher quality?

    Cheers
