Have to go against the grain here and say I thought castaway was very disappointing in that it could have been an hour shorter and most of the storyline was like watching paint dry......but hey ....its only an opinion.....

Thought it was pretty good and who could fail to be impressed by the plane crash - great demo material for the sound systems :) My copy dropped out of DTS Matrix to DTS 5.1 on layer change, presumably the 'flag' disappeared. Anyone else find that happen?

More and more niggles like that do spoil things don't they - I'd rather be watching the film than looking out for faults.

Always think best plane crash is in Alive (had to prize fingers out of seat in cinema). castaway was good but I hate the american habit of spelling things out like telling the football of his attempt to hang himself, could have figured it out without the monologue! But hey in american films you have to have a formula!

Watched it last night. Really enjoyed it although the end was a bit drawn out. Didnt notice any audio dropout either. Dont want to sound too "anorakie" but its the first disc ive noticed with "EX/ES" flagging on it. Interesting eh! :D
