Just for info, I ordered one from Amazon (US) on Tuesday. Currently on it's way from New Jersey.

Amazon product
I won't be looking to sell but I could let you know if it turns up as described.

I understand they have been/are being discontinued.

Thanks
I was looking at that source as well. Tempted to just bite the bullet at that price 😀
Some overconfident/cocky sellers on eBay asking over a £100 “ because they are sought over” . It’s a £50 watch not a Faberge egg.
Does look nice though. Be interested in what you think of it in the flesh. There is a new model due out which looks the same but no Marlin logo. Due to copyright issues for some bizarre reason

Oh, so it's my fault :D

I went for it at £47.18 because I liked the look of the Marlin. Just seems to suit the watch face well.

Oh, 100% your fault

Mind you I already have 16 watches so hoping I can just make this one disappear in the collection without the wife noticing. I have 6 luxury watches and the rest are just nice looking watches that caught my eye from Hamilton, Vitorinox, Seiko, AVI-8 etc. It’s a drug

Yes, the Marlin is what makes it a bit of a collectors item now it’s discontinued. Ridiculous price for a decent quartz watch. Casio have long made very decent watches and to me this ones a real bargain. You can buy a sapphire Crystal from Aliexpress for £15 to give it a scratch proof glass.

Here’s a link if you’re interested in changing the glass

I watched that a few days ago. It was Just One More Watch where I first heard about the Duro. I guess that makes it all Jody's fault!

Just a heads-up. Received my Duro today. Just checked and I ordered it late on the 12th July so 9/10 days to delivery.

It is the Marlin.

The bezel appears to be stuck though. Would be interested to know how yours is when you get it.

The bezel on my father birthday Seiko was very stiff

I put a set of rubber gloves on and gave a good few hard turns and it free'd up and worked normally.

Thanks @cirian75 that worked.

I'll admit now that it wasn't a fault with the watch. I was trying to turn the bezel with the screen protecting plastic still on which prevented the bezel from turning. Having the rubber gloves on just gave me the extra purchase to overcome the grip of the plastic. What an idiot
