Question for those of you who may have just got this Steelbook as part of Amazon.de's 3 for 2 offer.

According to a well known BR review site, the Steelbook had an English LPCM track.

Doing a little surfing i've discovered (by reading various posts on forums) that this is not that case. DD only for English language. The Steelbook also has no commentary track and the German version may be cut too.

I was thinking of getting rid of my US Amaray copy now that I have the SB but am having second thoughts now.

Anyone confirm any of the above? It's no matter to me at the moment Audio wise since i'm still on DD/DTS. I'd be more bothered about having a cut film though so perhaps I should just put my Region A disc in the Steelbook.

Be left with a German disc and a US empty Amaray case though.

What will I do with them. Any value to them? Could they be flogged on the forums

Sell the Disc for cheap (like I did), buy the UK disc and stick it inside.

Already owned the UK disc so kept the steelbook sealed

So buy the UK to watch and keep it sealed

I have the US disc so no need to open the SB.

Just considering doing a Hybrid job.

i think the uk,us and germany all have cut versions. were as australia and france,scandinavia,holland and japan have uncut versions

just picked up the australian version. but the dutch version seems to be the best, you get uncut,deluxe version with a dolby true hd track

thats exactly what im goin to do mr scum, whats the deluxe version going for these days? did you sell the original cut version you got with the deluxe version?

It'd can be bought for under a tenner, but ebay auctions sometimes fetch higher.

I never had the actual discs from the UK deluxe set, just the box, inside case and booklet, which a friend in the video industry gave me.

The Australian release came in a standard amaray, naff glossy slipcase and a mini-sized version of the booklet.

I struggled for months to sell my DX edition (Sealed) for under a tenner at the classifieds. Have decided to keep it.

ive picked up the uncut australian version for £13.95, then picked up the uk deluxe version 10% walkers then 3 %quidco..for less than £8, before id seen the holland version had everything i wanted..doh!

what is the website address for netherland amazon, cant seem to find it for some reason? or indeed any other netherlands internet retail store!

thanks, seems to be about 30 euros before shipping, not sure what that translates too in pounds sterling, but i bet its more than the 21.50 ive paid for the uncut edition plus the deluxe edition!.i will try to sell the uk disc on its own as a single entity.
