I don't know if this is the right place to post this question, but could someone tell me if a device exists (and what it's called if it does) which will enable me to connect the memory card from a digital camera to a dvd player (or other suitable device that isn't a computer) so that the photos and movies can be viewed on a TV?

Is a special dvd player required for this device?

Can photos and movies on the card be deleted via the device?

    Thanks.

You need a dvd player with a USB port and a standard USB memory card reader, any cheap one will do.
I think you can only read the card fron the DVD player though, not delete or change files.

The Philips DVP5960 is a favourite on the forum with USB.
