I am going to attempt to wire up a 2006 RDS radio into a 1994 Escort, recently purchased car, radio in boot and plugs chopped off of wiring loom.
I have bought the plugs for radio from Halfords and was hoping that the colour scheme on the plug would match the wires in the car , this wasn't the case. What i have is ...

    Car Wiring

Thick Brown, Brown/White, Yellow, Red, Thin Brown, Grey/Yellow.

    Radio Plug

Yellow (+12v memory), 2 x Black (earth), Red (12v Ign), Orange (illumination), Blue (Antenna/Remote).

The speaker wiring is easy enough to sort, but if anyone could advise what needs to connect to what with the above listed Car wiring to Radio Plug, i would be very grateful.

    Thanks In Advance

    Chris
