    Hi there:)
I have just installed Lion and now my JVC everio camcorder software does not work so I need an up to date software to convert the MOD files, that only JVC use to a quicktime file to use in After Effects. Does anyone know what software I can get for my camera to work or am I stuffed?
    Thanks for any help:D

    Have you tried this?

Looking at the site, it might be a problem to install in Lion, but you could give it a go.

There appears to be other software out there, but looks like you have to pay for them. They all look look a bit overpriced.

    Hi there

    1) I have a few more questions about the video side of things. I have got the QuickTimeMPEG2 file but it says version 7.6, is this ok to use with
    SQUARED 5 and OS lion?

    2) Is apple PAL DV quick time compression OK to use if I am putting the final movie on to DVD? which quicktime compression is best to use for finally outputting on to DVD?

    3) Is it OK to use progressive in the settings or interlaced? I am going to use iDVD and I think I am wright in saying the it outputs interlaced on the DVD as most DVD players output in this? So is it better to use interlaced from the start or use progressive then it gets interlaced with iDVD?

    thanks for any help:)
