I am new to capturing and editing video and could really do with some help.
    1. What difference does the capture size window make,if bigger window used does this put more strain on the processor, aswell as dropping more frames?.
    2. Also does this make any difference to the play back of the video quality in full screen mode on a pc?.
    3. Which produces a better quality, (i am using a analouge camcorder) capturing in av rather than, on the fly mpeg1
4.One last question, are there any good free capture programs available to download?.
Any help would greatly be appreciated

    1. Yes. I use a small window on the PC, & monitor what's going on via a small TV.
    2. What you see on the PC monitor bares no relation to the actual quality of the capture. Your TV & PC monitor are completely different systems picture wise.
    3. Try www.scenalyzer.com I think the older version is free.
