    Not sure this is the right forum....

    Whats the best way to capture the PC screen into a video so I can create a presentation? I would want to be able to edit the final video as well.
    Freeware would be great but any app or advice appreciated.

    Windows media encoder is yuor answer, when you start it up there is an option for grabbing your screen as live video, set the resolution as the res of your screen and the bit rate as 600kbps, but you need a speedy CPU though for a res like 1024*768, or you may get random restarts...
