    Hi all,

Basically after some advice regarding analogue capture. Got great software that I use for DV and my pc already has firewire. However, need to digitise a few bungy videos :smashin: .

So, I need nothing more than a card with no software!

    Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

    Cheers all

Cheers Vonhosen but a little bit too steep to convert just a few videos.

The idea of going to one of those places that do the converting for you has crossed my mind but I want the ability to edit the footage myself.

    Any more suggestions greatfully appreciated.

    Cheers all

Use you DV camcorder - easy if it has AV-in (NOT the same as DV-in) many allow 'pass-through' - that is conversion from AV-in to DV-out without even having a tape in the camera. then use the same connection and software as you use for digital capture.

No AV in mate, which is rather annoying as this was my original plan!

Thanks for all the help and please keep the suggestions flowing.
