"a rogue Hydra agent trying to control Bucky"

He has nothing to do with Hydra. He's a Sokovian Colonel out for revenge after the Avengers killed his family in Ultron.

I'm a bit shocked you got this so wrong to be honest. Its not like it's some obscure film no one has heard of.

To 'complete' my 4K MCU collection (so far), they still need to release:

      Thor
      Thor: The Dark World
      Guardians Of The Galaxy
      Ant-Man
      Doctor Strange

I wish they'd get a move on. It's killing me having these big gaps in my collection. :rotfl:

Hard to see how it'll be better. The movies in 4K are the movies in 4K, no matter what edition you get. But sure, I think we can expect an official UK release around September.

Because they'll actually apply HDR properly this time around.

Disney (/whomever) are officially releasing them on 4K to tie in to Endgame on 4K.

The current ones are ok, but a bit of a rush job.

Indeed, can confirm, no IMAX scene (only the 3D Blu-Ray has that)

Hoping with this new IMAX Enhanced thing that they'll re-release a whole bunch of stuff with IMAX scenes (and the infinity war/endgame movies with their true 1.90:1 ratio!)

Fair enough. As a projector guy I’m not concerned with HDR. Thanks for the info, though. I own these discs and they look okay to me. Nothing to write home about, but okay. Had no idea there was poor HDR implementation.

Are these available individually, or only as part of a trilogy? CW is the only one I haven't seen, but I can't see it on its own yet.

Edit: It's payday, may as well go for it. Only £10 more than the individual release would be for all 3 movies...

Some rare instances of black crush aside, this is a big improvement over the flat, lifeless Blu Ray release. The HDR and wide colour gamut does wonders for the picture. Similar story for 'Winter Soldier' too. Both are well worth the upgrade.

The audio is as you would expect from Disney sadly and the airport sequence is not shown in fullscreen/IMAX. Predictable given previous MCU 4K releases, but no less scandalous imo.

They’re all on the way - if you look further afield than avf.

The Ironman Trilogy release was a bare bones 4k release. I expect a release from Disney will make good use of HDR and the WCG as far as the video is concerned and just as important, we’ll get the immersive audio tracks to go with the next gen video.
