Canton subs - Any good or what alternatives

I'm seriously thinking of getting Canton CD250's for front 3 speakers and would really appreciate any experience people out there have of Canton Subs. Can't seem to find anything useful when searching.
Obvious alternatives from what I've been reading here are the BK xls200 or for a lot more dollars the SVS SB12+. I could probably stretch to the SB12+ if it was a worthwhile investment. I would rather do that than regret it after getting the BK.

At the Bristol Show, some of the best sounds of the day were in the Canton room, especially when you took price into consideration. The bass wasn't bad but...

If you can run to the SB-12, do it.

It's very close to the likes of the PB-10 and Monolith in terms of depth and impact and certainly in terms of the upper bass, is a bit cleaner than the Monolith which will be important with smaller speakers/higher crossovers.

Either way, you won't ever see the XLS-200 compared to the former two, so it doesn't compare to the SB-12.
