I am desperatly looking for a pair of black Canton LS 90.1 speaker stands that seem to have been discontinued by Canton. If anyone has any idea where might sell them (I've searched) it would be greatly apprichiated as I don't know of any other stands that the Canton 80 CX Speakers work with

Hi... I looked for these and could not find them anywhere. So bought the following:

    B-Tech BT11

Your satellites look a similar size to those in the Canton 125mx that I have, so I would have thought they would be fine.

The stands look decent enough and are height adjustable and fit just fine. Don't be put off by the cheap price. They both look and feel well built.

Don't suppose you could take a photo of your stands with the 125 MX's in them - got the same speaker set as you now and likely to consider these

    Here you go

The speaker stands are adjustable for height and way a ton, so could easily take much heavier speakers.

I personally think they are a reasonably elegant solution. Little point in bulky stands for such small speakers.

    Hi

They should come with the little "platform" that fixes to the end of the main support rod (IE. part of the fixing kit). Some speakers don't require this. Though might be an idea to speak to the seller just in case!

I still think the Canton 125's are a great little speaker set. The replacement 130's don't get such a good write up (still rated but not quite as good). They've fiddled / changed the subwoofer and it doesn't look from the reviews that this has been a total success.

Thanks Mike. Does seem weird that there's no platform I the photo. Will try to work out how to contact the seller via amazon.

Great to hear your comments re the 125s. A bargain at £229.

    Hi,

I realise this is an old thread but just wanted to ask ... how is the speaker fitted to the top platform ...??

    Cheers
