Ok, these seem to either be recommended or not by a lot of people.

The Kefs come with a subwoofer which may or not be any good, and they look good.

The Cantons come recommended but apparently have mid range problems.

The B&Ws look great, but appear to be slightly better for music than movies.

95% of what they will be used for is for movie watching and a bit of tv. Occasionally the odd cd.

Been quoted around £649 for the KEF package (5 speakers + sub) and around £125 each for the B&W speakers.

Upgrading from a Mission cinema pack that is around 5 years old.

Anything I should be looking for with these? Will give them a test run before buying anything but may miss something important so would like to be aware of the facts so I'm not sold the wrong thing because someone wants to offload them or whatever....

well at £240 for CD1 they seem abit mismatched agianst the £650+ kef and B&W's the canton CD2.22 (CD100,CD50,CD10 and AS22sc) can be had for £700 so is more on par price wise, add MS genies and Anthony Gallo Micros to the list Genies are £700 is AG's a bit more at £1000 (look at a different sub tho the MPS1 isn't up to much)
