I was wondering if anyone could answer this. I have sky hd downstairs with a 4 way bi-directional tv amplifier,so I can get sky in my conservatory and our main bedroom.I also have sky+box in my son's bedroom. The problem I have is I can recieve sky on the tv in our bedroom but cannot turn over or control it from ustairs with the main handset. The guy who installed the amplifier tried for ages and said it could not be done ishe right?

The 4 way amp needs to have what is called digital bypass which allows SKY eyes to talk back to the SKY box through a aerial amplifier. The SLX range does this. Remember SKY+ & HD controllers are NOT compatiable with plain old Sky controllers.
