got new elite today transferred gamertag profile from core system, signed into live no problem, but wont let me sign into messenger, entered my live id password when asked but says not valid with this windows live id only thing that has changed is going from a core to an elite system. .... any ideas.... cheers
mate...this is an all round problem/issue that has also affected people creating new gamertags too. I had the same issue with logging into messenger and only started last nite. Hopefully just a small glitch that should be resolved soon. I wouldn't worry too much for now.
I couldn't log into messenger last night either but it's not a new gamertag and I've signed in many times in the past. It just said my password was wrong and to re-enter it.
