    Hi
I've just bought a new receiver and have located all satellites and channels, except Eurobird 9. A channel download keeps picking up Hotbird channels, despite a good signal. I've tried TPs and was advised to try 11938 and 12078 but again got Hotbird channels, does anyone know of a frequency that's on Eurobird alone? Or am i doing something wrong?
    Thank You

    Eurobird 9 channels ( 9º East ) :
    Eurobird 9 at 9.0°E - LyngSat

    Hotbird channels ( 13ºEast) :
    Hot Bird 6/7A/8 at 13.0°E - LyngSat

You should be able to compare transponder frequencies to find one that's unique on the former bird.
It sounds like your dish isn't moving to the Eurobird 9 position correctly (tracking / setup error , e.g. mounting pole for motor not truly vertical).

It might help if you describe your equipment (makes and models).

    Thanks Chris
Have managed to find it in the end. If anyone else has the same issue; Had to move the motor west bit by bit until the signal went (off Hotbird) and came back (Eurobird signal), then entered TP 12034 and it found the channels. Receiver is a Technomate 6800HD. Cheers.
