I have my 868 running fine to a receiver using S/PDIF but last night I wanted to watch a DVD on my little 22" LCD so I connected the player via SCART.

The result was a nice picture but only music! After a bit I realised that the sound seems to be just the L/R channels of a 5.1 feed, the centre channel where the spoken audio track is located is missing.

I've poked around the audio setup and can't see anything that controls this .. as an aside when I put the DVD into my cheapo KiSS I get a nice 2-ch stereo downmix.

Is this just something the 868 can't do? The video output is set to HDMI to feed my scaler but that wasn't on and HDMI was not operative, maybe I need to alter that perhaps?
