    Hi all
I have just bought a philips pw 329509 and a sony dav sc5 home cinema. They work really well until I try to get my sky+ to play digital through the speakers. I am using an optical cable, but the sound just wont come through my home cinema when it a dolby digital film. I know it is only supposed to work when it is a DD rating. and also when not playing a DVD, but being on the DVD av i can hear terrestrial tv channels through my speakers. Any ideas
    :lease:

Hi, have you set the output in the sound menu to dolby digital, the output socket from the box glows red

make sure that you sent the input on the amp to automatic rather than analogue, this should solve the problem.

Thanks to get it going I reset my amp settings as suggested. And to get it through the speakers I had to set the amp to Video 2.
