I’ve never seemed to get decent DVD playback on my PCs. My current setup is still grainy and jumpy. What should I look at tweaking?

    My setup includes:

    Processor: AMD Athlon +1800XP (1.53GHz)
    Memory: 2X 256Mb DDR
    MB: ECS K7S5A SKT A (SIS 735) ATX DDR/SDR
    Graphics Card: Sapphire Radeon 9600 APG x8 128MB DDR DVI-I TV-Out
Monitor: AOC 19ins TFT 93KHz DVI and VGA inputs
    DVD: Pioneer DVR-105 IDE DVD 4xDVD-R /RW- (8-12X DVD-ROM read)

I’m using the DVI link for the monitor, and its set at native resolution. I’ve found PowerDVD to be the best playback programme (over WMP and WinAmp).
