Can't get component working on Sanyo PLVZ2

    Bought the projector about 6 weeks ago and have been having problems getting any joy with the component option. Can not get any picture from it whatsovever. Composite and Svideo are fine. Bought an xbox cable to link up with projector but works fine on SVideo but nothing at all on Component. Is there some swtich or option i am not using. PLEASE PLEASE HELP.

    might be best to move this to the lcd/non-crt section mods ?

    Some DVD players require you to switch on the component output.
    As a test the green component cable should send out a B&W video picture. Try that in your composite video port.

    I put the green cable into the composite option and the screen just turned a fuzzy green

    check the settings on your DVD it's not putting out component properly
