Can't find a supplier of M8 spikes...

I've spent a fruitless hour looking for a UK supplier of M8 spikes and only found a couple which were stupidly expensive.

Ideally some like BK supply with the Monolith, which are £4, but don't seem to be available for order separately.

BK are a friendly buch - did you ask ?

Then again they sell those expensive Super Spike things which are great on wooden fllors, but may mean they don't want to sell the cheap ones

First place I looked. Could only find non metric ones and cone shapes of various dimensions and finishes rather than a simple, screw-in spike.
