cant boot into XP after new win7 install

please help as per the title ive installed win7 to a new hard drive,now i cant boot into winXP(on a seperate drive),keep getting the error message NTDLR is missing.ive had this before when i installed vista and managed to fix it that time,but i cant remember for the life of me what i did.....im sure it was to do with the bootloader.Any help guys?this is driving me nuts:confused:

IIRC you need to add the XP as a boot option within the W7 bootloader (use BCEdit to add this). You then always "Boot" to the W7 drive and choose either XP or W7 to boot into. I think!

You might find it easier to edit the bootloader with a program such as EasyBCD

Yes, EasyBCD is the preferred and easier GUI option....... I for the life of me couldn't think what it was called!
