Not sure whether to try this new Ricoh Caplio GX instead.
It's able to take AA batteries and more lense adaptors, very fast start-up and a good quality lens, had a 35mm Ricoh GR-1, very pleased with it.
Spoke to a guy in Jessops he favoured the Ricoh when I asked about Canon S60.
I hate having to make a decision, thought S60 was the one !

The Ricoh doesn't look as stylish but I quite like it, reminds me of Nikon appearance, has rubbery grips, it's slim and black. I would prefer S60 in black.

looked at the ricoh and yes it has some nice touches, especialy the 1cm macro which appeals to me alot but it`s definately not a looker like the s60.

will ponder over this one for a bit longer.....
