Canon Pixma 4500 CD/DVD printer

I have used this on CDs successfully in the past but it suddenly stopped working after I had to re-intall the Canon software.
The installer could not install this element, reporting that it was already installed.
I can fimd no trace of the CD printing part of the Canon software, no matter how I search.
Can anyone help please?

I think there in nothing wrong with the software, it might some technical issue.

Problem solved by a visit to registry
