My canon mv830i doesn't playback (can't tell if the record is working or not) the screen at first was just broken some areas still moving and some stuck, this gradually worsened giving grey areas and intermittent blue screen, now there is just the blue screen and no sound, the counter does not work. there is also a different sound in the motor which has also changed as the picture deteriorated. I tried a head cleaner tape with no success, can anyone help re the nature of the fault and if it is likely to be repairable at a reasonable price. I have had the camera for 16 months and have put 8 tapes through although I do playback alot.
