I've got a Canon MV730i, which I got second-hand from eBay. Should have looked on this forum more closely before I bought it - motor noise...

Anyway, I've been looking at the possibility of an external mic. Most places I read on the forums suggest that this can't be done with this camera. This SimplyDV review (http://www.simplydv.co.uk/Reviews/canon_mv750i.html) of the MV750i, though, suggests that a Canon DM 50 would work, so I was thinking that this might be an option with the MV730i.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks
