Anyone else got one of these?

I have never seen anything go through its battery pack in my life like this camera!

Everytime I go to use it.... "Change the battery pack"

Digital cameras are notorious for ploughing through batteries. Is it a custom battery or can you use AAs?
I need 3 sets of high power NiMH buggers to ensure I don't end up without a camera.

    Stuart,

    Its a custom 3.6V 680mha silly little thing:rolleyes:

So I dont even have the option of AA's

My last Canon was just as bad with AA's though, wonder if its a Canon trait??

Canon have recently upgraded the IXUS battery to a 840mah NB-1LH on the new IXUS V3. It will work in previous cameras too I think. Not too much consolation I know.
